If you're incorporating LinkedIn®, Facebook, or Twitter into your recruiting strategies, you're not alone, according to Workforce Management. And with 75 million people using Twitter each day (Computerworld.com), smart employers are utilizing blogs in their talent acquisition efforts.

But feeding the talent pipeline online can result in costly litigation if a job applicant claims you've invaded her privacy.

Learn how to safely recruit top job applicants online -- while minimizing legal risks -- with the all-new HR Hero webinar on CD, 2011 Recruiting: Find the Best Talent Cost Effectively  Using Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Skype and More.

In just 90 minutes, your presenters will cover:

  • What's hot right now in social media sourcing and recruiting? Did you know that many HR pros are using webcams to interview candidates?
  • How are other online tools, such as iRecruit, helping recruiters manage resumes and track applicants?
  • How can Skype be used as part of the sourcing and interview process?
  • How is LinkedIn changing sourcing?
  • How can your organization effectively use blogs to engage and attract candidates?
  • What are the "limits" you should obey when using social networks to learn about job applicants?
  • How are mobile applications changing the landscape of the sourcing and recruiting world?
  • What’s the best way to use Twitter to build a "following" among active and passive job candidates?
  • How often should HR be posting and "tweeting" to see results? Are more "tweets" and posts always better?
  • What’s the best way to use online video and YouTube to recruit talent? Where’s the payoff? Where in the "Social Sphere" should HR deliver its social media messages to get the most bang for the buck?
  • How should you handle information found online that you would NEVER ask about in an interview? What other legal risks do social media channels pose to recruiters?
