Fair Employment Notice:The Oklahoma Fair Employment poster has been updated with additional information regarding unlawful discrimination in employment. Unlawful discrimination includes harassment and retaliation based on a person's protected status. Effective Date: March, 2015

Workers’ Compensation Update: The Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Commission has released an updated poster that must be displayed by employers. This mandatory update reflects that death claims must be filed within two (2) years of the date of death. Effective Date: July, 2014

Compensation Notice: Oklahoma has released a new version of the Workers’ Compensation notice. Among the substantive changes are the new inclusion of “hospital, optometric, podiatric and nursing services, medicine, crutches and other apparatus” to the list of aid and services the employer must provide. Effective date: February, 2014

Workers’ Compensation: The Oklahoma Workers' Compensation Commission has released an updated poster that must be displayed by employers. This mandatory update reflects an overhaul to the workers' compensation system allowing for more timely processing of claims. Effective Date: January, 2014

The Family and Medical Leave Act notice has been revised to reflect the changes caused by the recently approved rule. The definition of "Veteran" has been revised to include both those who serve and those discharged in the past 5 years (previously it was only those who served). The explicit definition of "Serious Injury or Illness" was removed as well, replaced by a notice that there are differences between the definition of "Serious Injury or Illness" for a service member or veteran, and "Serious Health Condition" under the FMLA. Effective Date: March 8, 2013.
