William W. Bowser, partner in the Employment Law Department of the firm, has represented both private and public employers on a full range of labor and employment matters for over 20 years. He defends employers in employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and "whistleblower" lawsuits in state and federal courts. He has vast experience in representing employers in collective bargaining and administrative proceedings before the NLRB, EEOC, the Delaware Department of Labor, and other government agencies. He assists employers on avoiding litigation by developing effective employee handbooks, policies, and procedures, and he provides training to in-house counsel, human resource professionals, supervisors, and employees. He is listed in The Best Lawyers in America and Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business.



Scott Holt represents management in all phases of labor and employment law, including collective bargaining, employment counseling and litigation, class actions, and executive compensation. His experience includes practice before state and federal trial and appellate courts in matters arising under the NLRA, ADEA, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADA, FLSA, WARN Act, Section 301 of the Taft-Harley Act, Section 1113 of the Bankruptcy Code, and injunction, breach of contract, and employment cases. Scott also represents management and Chapter 11 debtors on labor and employment issues that arise in the context of business acquisitions, mergers, employee layoffs, and plant shutdowns.


 


Adria B. Martinelli is a senior associate in the Employment Law Section of Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor, LLP and practices in the firm's Wilmington office. She specializes in the defense of employment discrimination lawsuits. She has developed an expertise in pregnancy and family responsibility discrimination and is a frequent speaker on those topics.
