Robert M. Mr. Vercruysse graduated from Michigan State University with high honors and received his J.D. (cum laude) from The University of Michigan Law School. Mr. Vercruysse is also a life member of the Sixth Judicial Conference, U.S. Court of Appeals, a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the Michigan State Bar Foundation, a Trustee of the Historical Society of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, on the Michigan Employment Relations Commission's Advisory Committee, on the EEOC Advisory Committee on ADR, and on the ABA/EEO Liaison Committee for Michigan. He also serves as an arbitrator, mediator, and facilitator.
Mr. Vercruysse is the President and a founder, director and shareholder of Vercruysse Murray & Calzone, P.C., which is located in the Detroit, Michigan, metropolitan area.
William E. Altman practices in the areas of labor, employment, and benefits litigation on behalf of private and public sector employers. He has extensive experience representing employers in cases involving anti-discrimination laws, whistle-blower and retaliation actions, ERISA actions, non-competition agreements, trade secrets, fiduciary duty actions, and class actions. Mr. Altman defends employers in state and federal courts and before state and federal agencies.
Mr. Altman also advises employers regarding their obligations under state and federal employment laws, including employment and separation agreements, employment policies, internal investigations, and compliance with state and federal anti-discrimination, wage and hour, and benefits laws.
