Edward M. Kaplan is a partner with Sulloway & Hollis P.L.L.C. and serves as chair of the firm's Executive Committee. He focuses on labor law, employment law, and general litigation. Mr. Kaplan counsels employers in connection with employment, labor relations, and union matters and defends discrimination and labor matters before state and federal administrative agencies and courts. He is counsel to many of the state's largest school districts. In addition to his labor and employment practice, Mr. Kaplan defends product liability matters and claims involving the auto racing industry. Jeanine L. Poole, is a partner with Sulloway & Hollis, P.L.L.C. and concentrates her practice on labor and employment law. A substantial portion of her practice involves advising clients in both the private and public sectors in all areas of employment law, from employment-related decisions and wage and hour issues to the preparation and implementation of effective employment practices and policies. Ms. Poole has successfully negotiated a number of school district collective bargaining agreements for groups including administrators, teachers, paraprofessionals, and transportation, food service, and maintenance personnel, and regularly advises school districts with regard to employment issues.
Ms. Poole also is a frequent speaker and has authored papers and articles on compelling employment law topics such as ADA, FMLA, sexual harassment, handbook preparation, and wrongful discharge.
William D. Pandolph is a partner with Sulloway & Hollis P.L.L.C. and has practiced with the firm since 1988. His practice includes litigation, with an emphasis on commercial, insurance, professional liability, and employment matters, including the defense of ERISA and non-ERISA benefits, wrongful termination, Title VII, ADEA, and ADA claims. He has successfully defended cases in state and federal courts in New Hampshire and appeals before the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He has lectured on ERISA issues for the New Hampshire Bar Association and the National Business Institute.
Timothy A. Gudas is a partner with Sulloway & Hollis, P.L.L.C. and leader of the firm's Labor and Employment Group. He concentrates his practice in litigation, employment law, and appellate matters. He handles cases before the state and federal courts in New Hampshire and before various administrative agencies. He regularly represents employers in disputes at New Hampshire's Commission for Human Rights and Department of Labor. His appellate work has upheld major decisions for the firm's clients, both at the New Hampshire Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
Mr. Gudas also is a frequent presenter to professional and business groups on legal developments affecting their organizations. Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Mr. Gudas clerked for the New Hampshire Supreme Court and practiced for two years in New York.
