Richard MorganRichard J. Morgan is a shareholder in McNair Law Firm's Columbia, South Carolina office. Rick is certified by the South Carolina Supreme Court as an Employment and Labor Specialist. He chairs the Labor and Employment section and the Litigation section of the firm. He has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America in the specialty of Labor and Employment Law. He advises and counsels employers on all aspects of employment and labor law issues and has extensive experience representing employers in state and federal courts and in administrative tribunals. He has defended employers in litigation involving discrimination, retaliation, workplace harassment, wage and hour laws, unemployment compensation, unfair labor practices, contract disputes, wrongful termination, negligent supervision/hiring/retention, employee benefits, intentional infliction of emotional distress, defamation, conspiracy, and enforcement of non-compete agreements. In addition, Rick advises employers during union organizing attempts.

 


After receiving his law degree, Hayne Hodges worked in the legal department of Eurocopter in Marignane, France, and obtained his Masters in International Business Studies. Hayne served as a law clerk to The Honorable Terry L. Wooten, United States District Judge for the District of South Carolina, from 2002 until he joined McNair Law Firm as an Associate in September 2005.

Hayne practices in the Litigation Section of the Firm. His practice areas include labor and employment law and business litigation.
