Jonathan MookJonathan R. Mook is a founding partner in the firm of DiMuroGinsberg. Mr. Mook is a nationally recognized authority on the Americans with Disabilities Act and is the author of two treatises published by Matthew Bender Company, Americans with Disabilities Act: Employee Rights and Employer Obligations and Americans with Disabilities Act: Public Accommodations and Commercial Facilities. He lectures nationally on the Americans with Disabilities Act and other employment law topics.

Mr. Mook is a member of the Editorial Board of Bender's Labor and Employment Bulletin.

 

 


Bernard DiMuroBernard J. DiMuro is the managing partner of DiMuroGinsberg and President of the Civil Workplace, Inc. Since 2001, Mr. DiMuro has been recognized by Virginia Business magazine five times as one of Virginia's "Legal Elite" in the civil and litigation practice area. Mr. DiMuro is a recipient of a 1995 Trial Lawyer of the Year Award from the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice and was named a finalist for the 2006 Trial Lawyer of the Year Award.

Mr. DiMuro represents corporate clients in complex civil litigation before both federal and state courts and administrative tribunals in the areas of business torts, corporate law, employment law, product liability, professional liability, and defamation. He represents employers in all aspects of federal and state discrimination and employment laws, ranging from federal claims for sexual harassment, age, sex, and disability discrimination, fair labor standards and whistleblowing to common law employment claims including wrongful discharge, defamation, negligent hiring and retention, and privacy rights.


Michael BarnsbackMichael E. Barnsback is a partner in the law firm of LeClairRyan. Mr. Barnsback counsels and represents Virginia employers in all aspects of employment law. He has frequently lectured on and assisted employers with disability accommodation and leave issues under the ADA and FMLA. He is experienced defending employers in Department of Labor wage/hour audits and FLSA individual and collective action overtime cases.

He also has significant background representing employers before the EEOC and state/local administrative agencies. He has over twenty years of courtroom experience litigating employment related cases. His practice also focuses on protecting employers from unfair competition and theft of trade secrets and confidential information, and breaches of fiduciary duties by employees, officers and directors. Mr. Barnsback has worked extensively with federal government contractors and employers in the healthcare and construction fields. He is an editor of the Virginia Employment Law Letter, a monthly newsletter published by BLR. Mr. Barnsback also lectures frequently on employment law and human resources issues.
